As the scope of this role expands, the
Director of Hospitality & Lodge Operations
will not only lead day-to-day operations at the Lodge but also assume responsibility for event execution, culinary programming, and bar operations across our campus. This role demands a strategic hospitality leader with a passion for excellence, strong operational expertise, and the ability to elevate experiences.
Responsibilities
Lead the overall vision, direction, and execution of hospitality experiences across campus.
Build and develop high-performing, service-driven teams aligned with company values.
Partner cross-functionally to ensure consistent guest experiences and world-class service delivery.
Guide the long-term evolution of venues, including guest services, team development, and experience design.
Oversee hospitality operations on campus, with a focus on culinary, bar, and event programming.
Ensure seamless event execution, high-quality food and beverage service, and alignment with guest, student and team member expectations.
Develop scalable SOPs for service, inventory, and event logistics across campus.
Create and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and capital plans.
Monitor key metrics (e.g., NPS, cost per guest, food & beverage margins), using data to drive performance improvements.
Ensure operational compliance and optimize processes for quality and efficiency.
Contribute to enterprise-wide projects and initiatives. Flex across departments and locations as needed to support organizational goals.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, Business Management, or relevant field.
8+ years of progressive experience in hospitality or resort management
3+ years in food & beverage operations
3+ years managing events or conferences
2+ years managing multi-site operations or large-scale hospitality programs
Licenses & Certifications
_food Handling and Alcohol Service certifications preferred_
Project Management certification and bilingual skills are a plus
Compensation Level 16 $139,935 - $174,919
