This is a standing posting to remain open throughout the 2024-2025 academic year. It is for positions spanning the full academic year with varying appointment percentages depending on course offerings. The University of Minnesota contributes to the cost of UPlan benefits for positions of 75% time (30 hours/week) or higher. Responsibilities:

Serve as instructor of record for undergraduate or graduate-level mathematics courses. Courses may include undergraduate and professional master's courses in financial mathematics. Prepare course materials, including syllabi, and deliver content. Respond to student inquiries via email, phone, or in person. Grade student work and submit final grades. Courses may be offered online or in person. Qualifications

Required:

PhD in mathematical sciences or related field. Experience teaching university-level math courses. Preferred:

Experience as instructor of record for a university course. About the Department

The School of Mathematics at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities is part of the College of Science and Engineering. It comprises over 60 faculty members and 120 graduate students, dedicated to research in pure and interdisciplinary mathematics in a welcoming environment. Pay and Benefits

Salary ranges from $60,000 to $90,000 annually for a 100% appointment, depending on qualifications. The appointment is 75%-100%.
