Co-Founder | Partner - Executive Search and Direct Hire: Optimize Search has been retained by a PE-backed Joint Venture looking to fill a brand new Controller role in the North Dallas/Addison area. Base pay range
$180,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Financial Reporting: Prepare and oversee timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports that comply with GAAP or IFRS. Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting process, monitor actual performance against budgets, perform variance analysis, and recommend corrective actions. Internal Controls: Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets, prevent errors or fraud, and ensure compliance. Compliance: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local tax laws and regulatory requirements, oversee tax filings, and coordinate with external auditors for annual audits. Team Leadership: Supervise accounting managers and staff; provide guidance and foster an efficient and accurate accounting operation. Cash Management: Oversee cash flow, manage relationships with banks and financial institutions, optimize working capital, and participate in financial strategy planning. Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to provide insights on profitability, cost control, and investment opportunities to senior management. Special Projects: Support merger and acquisition activities, system improvements, and other strategic initiatives. Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred 10+ years experience in accounting/finance Experience with integration of mergers and acquisitions required Prior experience with private equity is strongly preferred Proven experience as a Controller or similar role Seniority level
