Overview

This role follows a hybrid-friendly schedule with in-office days 3 per week, averaging 12 days per month, in one of the following locations: St. Petersburg, FL; Memphis, TN; or Southfield, MI. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role, now or in the future. Role involves identifying trends related to risk remediation, presenting findings and reports to senior leaders, and preparing materials for regulatory purposes. Responsibilities

Act as a point of contact for all risk matters across the Operations division, including audit support, regulatory inquiries & exams, risk & control self-assessments, remediations, and risk council participation. Communicate and network with various groups throughout the firm. Work independently on large-scale risk projects and initiatives, sourcing from Enterprise Risk, Business Risk & Control, and Operations divisions. Facilitate identification of risks for the assigned area and provide opinions on the business unit’s risk profile and adherence to risk programs. Execute continuous monitoring programs for assigned areas, monitoring key metrics to identify control issues and adverse trends, and recommend mitigation strategies. Assist in developing and executing risk and control consulting activities in accordance with internal standards and applicable regulations. Collaborate with business process owners and internal/external auditors to evaluate control deficiencies and develop risk-based solutions. Oversee or lead risk mitigation and project initiatives, deliver quality outputs, and advise the business on change initiatives. Analyze complex problems, research solutions, and present conclusions to varied levels within the organization. Knowledge Of

Advanced concepts, practices, and procedures of risk management (operational, enterprise, regulatory). Foundational knowledge of risk and control frameworks (COSO, Basel II, etc.). Strong understanding of risk management practices, risk assessments, internal control and mitigation strategies, and Raymond James products and services. Advanced investment concepts and banking/finance knowledge related to the securities industry. Skills

Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior leadership. Effective time management, autonomy, and organizational skills; strong written and verbal communication. Strong analytical skills with data assessment and risk assessment of control weaknesses. Proven ability to multitask, manage priorities, and work independently or in teams. Critical thinking, policy development, and proactive risk management project planning. Advanced Microsoft Excel and Office suite proficiency. Licensing

FINRA SIE and Series 99 preferred but not required. Education

High School diploma required. Experience

General experience: 3 to 6 years. Certifications

Securities Industry Essentials Exam (SIE) – FINRA. Travel
