Overview
We are looking for a Tax Accountant to join our Corporate Tax team. This role supports global tax reporting, provision, and compliance functions for a multinational enterprise. You will work closely with tax managers, finance partners, and auditors to ensure accurate reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and continuous improvement of tax processes. Key Responsibilities
Assist with quarterly and annual ASC 740 income tax provision calculations, including valuation allowance, uncertain tax positions, and effective tax rate analysis
Prepare and review supporting schedules for domestic and international tax reporting
Draft tax-related journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts
Support the preparation of income tax disclosures for financial statement reporting
Collaborate with global finance teams to review tax packages, audit responses, and compliance data
Maintain organized and standardized workpapers to facilitate review and audit readiness
Monitor changes in tax laws and accounting standards that may impact reporting obligations
Support internal and external audit requests and provide necessary documentation
Participate in special projects, tax technology initiatives, and process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Tax
1–3+ years of experience with ASC 740 income tax accounting in a corporate or public accounting environment
Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and U.S. tax concepts
Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical ability
Preferred Qualifications
CPA license or progress toward certification
Master’s degree in Accounting or Taxation
Experience with tax provision software (e.g., OneSource, Corptax, or equivalent)
Familiarity with ERP and financial consolidation systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workiva, or similar)
Exposure to international tax reporting and compliance
Experience with process improvements or tax technology projects
