We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented
Manager, SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting
to join our growing accounting team. This role is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional to play a key part in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the external financial reporting process by ensuring compliance with US GAAP and SEC regulations, performing technical accounting research on complex and non-routine transactions, maintaining the company’s accounting policies, managing the accounting related to M&A activities, and assisting with ad-hoc projects. You will collaborate cross-functionally with teams across the company, contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and internal controls.

What You’ll Do
Oversee the preparation and filing of SEC financial documents including 10-Q’s, 10-K’s and 8-K’s and maintain all related supporting documents
Maintain the company’s financial reporting calendar and communicate with key stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met
Prepare and communicate materials on a quarterly basis for Disclosure and Audit Committee meetings
Conduct research on technical accounting topics by documenting memos, preparing analyses in a digestible format to be presented to senior leadership and managing the external auditor review process
Facilitate the integration of solutions related to technical accounting research into standard close activities
Own and maintain the Company's global accounting policy catalog
Be a key player in the M&A process by participating in due diligence and overseeing purchase price accounting for M&A transactions
Perform ad-hoc and special project requests made by management in a timely and efficient manner
Project manage cross departmental initiatives
Stay up to date on U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and relative company policies, practices and procedures in order to evaluate the impact and drive the adoption efforts of new standards or regulations
Proactively and independently identify opportunities for improvement or automation and drive results within the accounting department
Continually enhance the reporting process along with corresponding SOX controls structure/framework
Prepare support, address requests and manage relationship with internal and external auditors related to SEC reporting, technical accounting and M&A activities
Assist the Investor Relations team with the preparation of key documents and all supporting documentation
Who You Are
6-8 years of accounting experience, preferably within a public company or Big 4 firm
BS/BA degree in Accounting
CPA-certified (or on track to be certified)
Strong technical accounting background with a knowledge of US GAAP, SOX 404, and SEC reporting standards
A proactive approach to problem identification and remediation solutions, and excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to interact and build relationships across all levels of the organization
Self-motivated and able to work under pressure, consistently meeting deliverables and deadlines while managing multiple tasks
Strong organization and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
Flexible and analytical, with meticulous attention to detail
Experience working with Workiva, Netsuite, and Intelligize or Technology industry experience
