Sr. Manager, SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting — Intapp is seeking a leader of SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting to join our global accounting team. This role will lead the SEC reporting and technical accounting function, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all financial reports filed with the SEC, staying current with new accounting standards and regulations, and maintaining a robust internal control environment to support SOX compliance. This position reports to Finance, Corporate Controller. What you will do

Lead the financial reporting and technical accounting team in drafting and filing all financial documents and SEC filings including Form 10-Q, 10-K, Proxy and other ad hoc registration statements. Monitor and analyze new accounting pronouncements and SEC regulations to determine their impact on the company and implement necessary changes. Manage the preparation and maintenance of the external reporting process, including the balance sheet, income statement, cash flows, statement of stockholders’ equity, EPS calculations, share-based compensation and M&A accounting. Partner with Investor Relations in supporting the preparation of quarterly earnings scripts, investor presentations and related ad hoc supports. Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors during annual audits and quarterly reviews. Provide technical accounting guidance to the finance team and other business units, including developing reference guides to support the business in understanding the accounting implications of routine transactions. Lead technical accounting projects including establishing accounting policies, supporting Corporate Development and FP&A on M&A activities, and other ad hoc projects as assigned. Prepare and deliver presentations to senior management and the audit committee regarding technical accounting matters and SOX compliance status. Mentor and develop the SEC reporting and technical accounting team. What you will need

Minimum of 10 years of experience, with at least 5 years in public accounting and a mix with a strong background in SEC Reporting and Technical accounting in a public company. Experience working directly with accounting, FP&A, Legal and Investor Relations teams providing support to these departments as described above is critical. In-depth knowledge of GAAP including share-based compensation, EPS, business combinations, SEC regulations, and SOX requirements. Proven ability to lead and manage a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of management. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
