Top CPA firm that services global performing musicians and pro-athletes is seeking a Tax Senior. CPA or CPA-track is highly desired. This is a hybrid position with 2 days remote and 3 days in our NJ office, and offers a partner track opportunity if you're interested. Responsibilities
Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards. Prepare individual, business, and partnership tax returns (1040, 1120, 1120S) ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, or other tax requirements. Use Prosystem FX or similar software for tax preparation and planning. Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice. Report to management about asset utilization and audit results, and recommend changes in operations and financial activities. Establish tables of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts. Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology. Handle multi-state tax filings and navigate the complexities involved. Provide guidance and support to high-net-worth individuals with their financial management. Qualifications
A valid CPA license, or in process of CPA with parts passed or scheduled. 5+ years of experience in accounting or a related field. Proven experience with 1040, 1120, 1120S tax forms; experience in preparing individual, business, and partnership tax returns. Proficiency in Prosystem FX or similar tax software. Experience with multi-state tax filings. Experience in working with high-net-worth individuals. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; strong communication and interpersonal skills.
