Position:

FP&A Senior Analyst (hybrid) reporting to the Director, Financial Planning & Analysis. This role will be an integral member of the finance team, leading budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis within an assigned functional area (e.g., MFG, R&D, SG&A). The role supports the presentation of financial results to management and supports Business Development activities.

Responsibilities

Coordinate all aspects of annual planning and forecast processes within the assigned area (e.g., MFG, R&D, SG&A, Projects), including consolidation and review of financials, establishing timelines, and preparing presentations for management. Provide oversight of submissions and commentary to Corporate Finance.

Track financial performance on project-based initiatives and lead budgeting and forecasting conversations related to the project.

Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and ROI modeling to support strategic decision making with business partners.

Monitor KPIs and provide insights into their impact on the company's financial performance.

Identify opportunities for improvement and growth by partnering with business leaders.

Serve as central source of key trends, risks, and opportunities.

Lead and/or support finance-related integration projects and process improvement initiatives.

Work closely with finance leadership to drive prioritization and implementation of new planning models and changes to management reporting.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required; Finance, Accounting, or Business preferred.

MBA in Accounting/Finance a plus, but not required.

5 years of relevant financial experience, ideally in an operations-oriented environment.

Experience in the life science/pharmaceutical or medical technology industries.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.

Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint); working knowledge of data warehouse systems preferred (e.g., PowerBI, AX, D365, Adaptive).

Strong communication and collaboration skills across functions.

Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
