Overview
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Finance & Accounting to lead all aspects of financial operations and support data-driven decision-making as the company scales. This is a high-impact role within a small, fast-paced team environment, offering the opportunity to improve financial processes, strengthen controls, and drive profitability as we grow. Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate general ledger records Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and financial reporting Prepare financial statements in compliance with GAAP and/or IFRS Manage cash flow, accounts receivable, vendor payments, and working capital Develop annual budgets and rolling forecasts in collaboration with cross-functional teams Coordinate tax compliance and filings with internal and external partners Manage payroll end-to-end and oversee financial aspects of third-party service providers Qualifications
7+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or audit Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA and/or MBA preferred) Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, basic SQL); strong PowerPoint proficiency Experience with ERP systems (SAP Business One preferred) Background in consumer products, retail, or e-commerce preferred This is a key leadership role suited for a finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values ownership, accountability, and collaboration.
