Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Finance & Accounting Director to oversee and lead our finance and accounting operations. This individual will be responsible for driving financial accuracy, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering insightful financial reporting to support strategic decision-making. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with deep expertise in cost accounting, manufacturing finance, and team leadership. Base pay range
$175,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr Key Responsibilities
Provide financial leadership and guidance, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals. Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, budgeting, and rolling forecasts. Supervise day-to-day accounting activities while ensuring robust internal controls and financial accuracy. Lead cost accounting functions including standard costing, BOM (Bill of Materials) analysis, cost variance reporting, and inventory valuation using ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.). Ensure full compliance with U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and tax regulations. Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies for audits and reporting. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance or accounting, including at least 5 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, or similar). Strong command of financial statements, audit readiness, tax compliance, and cost accounting principles. Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines. Preferred Qualifications
Background in manufacturing accounting, including costing, BOM analysis, and inventory management. Familiarity with both U.S. GAAP and IFRS accounting standards. Experience in cross-border financial reporting or international accounting practices. Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English highly preferred. Familiarity with Korean business culture and work practices is a plus. Seniority level
