This position is for a
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
who will operate as part of the district’s behavioral support team. Within each school, BCBAs are partnered with a multidisciplinary team of mental and behavioral health staff (i.e., psychologists, social workers, RBTs) to provide wraparound support for inclusion-setting higher needs students. Responsibilities
Assessment:
Competency to complete FAs and FBAs, behavioral observations, creation of organized data collection systems. Planning:
Creation of Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs), systems of individual and group reinforcement, design of structured postvention for behavioral incidents. Oversight of care for specifically identified students:
Organize and maintain student information, including student needs tracking forms, data collection results, and collateral information. Consultation:
Provide teacher and staff consultation to promote inclusion, in-class support, classroom-based interventions, staff training, participation on MTSS teams, and designing tiered interventions. Supervision:
Oversee Registered Behavioral Technicians (RBTs). Team Membership:
Member of the SafetyCare response team in assigned buildings. Understanding of Special Education:
Provision of Grid A consultation and collaboration with Sp.Ed. teams on IEP goals. Qualifications
