for an in-person school-based role serving students in
Oakland, San Francisco, and the greater East Bay/Bay Area
for the upcoming school year. About Celebrations Speech Group We are a private practice and
Non-Public Agency (NPA)
with decades of experience providing exceptional special education and therapy services in schools, homes, and clinics across California. Our vibrant, inclusive culture ensures you have the tools, mentorship, and autonomy you need to succeed while developing leadership and clinical skills. What You’ll Do Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments in alignment with the California Department of Education, California Board of Psychology, and federal guidelines Determine student eligibility for special education services and programs based on individual needs Prepare clear, legally defensible reports with diagnoses and actionable recommendations Provide consultation to administrators, parents, students, school-based staff, and CSG team members on special education procedures, mental health, behavior, and intervention strategies Participate in IEP meetings and ensure compliance with due process timelines Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support a holistic approach to student success Provide counseling services to students when needed Offer training and support to school staff and families Maintain accurate, timely documentation of all services and assessments What We’re Looking For Required: Active Clinical or School Psychologist License issued by the California Board of Psychology Current Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential issued by the California CTC At least 2 years of school-based experience supporting students with Autism and related disabilities Preferred: Experience training and supporting school staff and parents Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills Positive, solutions-focused approach and ability to build strong relationships Perks & Benefits Competitive salary: $80,000 – $120,000 (commensurate with experience) Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance Retirement Planning Paid Sick Leave & Wellness Resources Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Continuing Education Unit (CEU) reimbursement Mileage reimbursement Access to CSG’s Employee Discount Perks Program for travel, childcare, education, and more Celebrations Speech Group is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from diverse candidates.
