Day Shift / 40hrs/wk The Payroll Analyst is responsible for ensuring that all employees are paid accurately and on a timely basis. This role involves working regularly within the payroll dashboard and timekeeping systems, reviewing W-2s, state and federal tax filings and garnishments, auditing and reconciling payroll reports and registers, and delivering exceptional customer service to managers and employees.

Responsibilities

Process payroll weekly utilizing ADP Workforce Manager, ADP Workforce Now, and Netsmart. When applicable, run test payrolls in UAT. Meet all weekly payroll deadlines. Process off-cycle payrolls as needed and adjust schedules during holidays to ensure accurate payroll processing. Work within the payroll dashboard to minimize errors, review input summaries, totals, and pay batches.

Provide exceptional customer service to managers and employees with payroll questions. Research, analyze, and respond to inquiries regarding paychecks.

Assist with retirement plans, loan and deferral audits. Reconcile and ensure files are properly loaded into the payroll module.

Monitor garnishments and taxes prepared by the HRIS system. Correct tax errors ahead of quarterly filings when applicable.

Perform weekly test payroll runs, audit and validate payroll registers, iReports, and other ADP reports to ensure accuracy and compliance. Complete preventative care incentive reports and enter batch imports to process.

Make payroll corrections as needed. Monitor employee arrears and execute necessary edits. Enter all company batches, process reversals, historical corrections, and PTO corrections.

Ensure direct deposit, federal and state tax forms are set up for employees prior to processing payroll. Initiate pay cards for new hires or terminations when required.

Assist with special projects as assigned or collaborate with other Analysts, HR Business Partners, Benefits team members, Risk, IT, or other colleagues as needed.

Prepare and validate annual W-2 forms and release W-3s. Prepare W-2c and transmit W-3c when necessary.

Prepare payroll communications (written and verbal) and distribute as needed.

Complete trainings via ADP Bridge, Support Center and Learning Module. Use payroll analytics tools to ensure compliance and identify improvement opportunities.

Assist with migrating direct deposit, state and federal tax, company 401k, non-elective and FLSA data when transferring to a new company. Create reports to ensure correct FLSA reporting when necessary.

Assist with annual retirement and financial audits as necessary. Support General Ledger and company taxes when needed. Process employee wage verifications and unemployment wage inquiries.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications Education:

High School diploma or GED; Associates or Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Experience:

5 years Healthcare payroll experience or equivalent. Experience in processing and distributing payroll in a confidential, deadline-driven environment.
