Remote Auditor – IP & OP at AMN Healthcare. StartDate: 10/27/2025. Pay Rate: $45.00 - $60.00. Remote position. Position: 2 PT Auditors – 1 IP & 2 OP. Systems: Cerner. Schedule: PT. Hours: 40 per quarter. Length of assignment: ~ 5 years. Estimated Start Date: ASAP, est 10/27/25. Remove/Onsite/Travel: Remote. Credentials or License: AHIMA (RHIA, RHIT, CCS), AAPC (CPMA, CPC). Responsibilities and Duties
Under indirect supervision, auditor is responsible for reviewing completed coding for Inpatient and Outpatient Facility (OBS, SDS, ED, RAD/Ancillary) services. This will include reviewing the coding of appropriate documentation in the medical record. Classification systems include ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, DRG’s, as well as other specialty systems as required by diagnostic category. All work is carried out in accordance with the rules, regulations, and coding conventions of the American Hospital Association (Coding Clinic), ICD-10-CM, CMS, and other organizational coding guidelines. Responsibilities And Duties Include And Are Not Limited To Maintains a working knowledge of ICD-10-CM & PCS, CPT coding principles, governmental regulations, official coding guidelines, and third-party requirements regarding documentation and billing Assures that all services documented in the patient\'s chart are coded with appropriate ICD-10 and CPT codes along with DRG assignment for IP services. When services/diagnoses are not documented appropriately, seeks to attain proper documentation in a timely manner according to facility standards. Ability to maintain average productivity standards. Works the review queue daily to ensure all charts that are placed in the review queue are worked and any corrections are communicated to the facility if necessary. The coder is responsible for coding or pending every chart placed in their queue. Coders must maintain their current professional credentials. Other Requirements Remote Workstation Standard Windows PC Internet Access with DSL or Cable VPN compatibility Printer Education And Skills High school diploma or equivalent required. Requires one of the following coding credentials: AHIMA (RHIA, RHIT, CCS), AAPC (CPMA, CPC) Must be proficient with Facility Coding Standards for Inpatient & Outpatient services. Minimum of Ten (10) years\' experience in coding. Minimum of five (5) years\' experience in auditing. Working knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS.
