Overview
SY25-26 Discovery High School Student Support Analyst Grade Level: 9-12 Location: Discovery High School at Chestnut Campus About Discovery High School: a founding team environment focused on preparing students for high demand, high paying, high-tech jobs of tomorrow, with a growth mindset and commitment to equity through innovation. Responsibilities
Set, maintain, and further develop a joyful, structured, achievement-oriented school culture Provide proactive, daily support to teachers and students to maintain high academic expectations Manage student referrals to the office Support intervention plans and accommodations for students with behavioral challenges Provide support to students 1:1 or in small groups Manage hallway coverage and other duties as needed Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (preferred) or commensurate work experience 1-3 years of relevant experience Desire to work with educationally underserved student populations and their families Commitment to the academic success and personal development of students Ambition to set ambitious, tangible goals and drive to achieve them Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and remain calm under pressure Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including public speaking Humility and experience in an urban setting Note:

The Springfield Empowerment Zone Partnership (SEZP) collaborates with Springfield Public Schools, the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, and the Springfield Education Association to improve outcomes for more than 5,000 students across eleven middle and high schools.
