Controller
is a talented, self-driven and high-energy individual in the Electronics division providing financial support as it relates to variance analysis, support for cost reduction and margin expansion opportunities for the Concord location. This person must have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization. Strong problem-solving skills is a must with the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis. Excellent organizational and strong time management skills, detail oriented and a professional demeanor. What You`ll Do
Preparing various monthly and quarterly financial reports for the Concord location including various “bridge analysis” Review and investigation of variances during the month, including scrap, material usage, purchase price variances and direct labor Be responsible for the month-end close and journal entries as well as review, analysis and reporting for inventory balances Coordinate annual standards roll Work with the manufacturing team to identify, validate and report cost reduction opportunities Work with the commercial organization as well as the manufacturing team to evaluate customer margins and opportunities for margin expansion Prepare capital expenditure requests as necessary for the business Assist in preparation of forecast and annual budgets along with other reporting requirements Other duties as assigned What You`ll Bring
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance 4+ years of experience with a background that includes accounting experience in manufacturing operations or relevant audit experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, able to work with complex spreadsheets, and able to understand and complete complex excel templates with business historical trends and explanatory information What We Value
Experience with SAP Business One a plus Demonstrated experience in being a strong and collaborative business partner with an organization to help facilitate on-going improvements.
