Assistant, Associate, or Full Teaching Professor of Spanish

The Department of Romance Languages and Literatures seeks to hire a dynamic teaching professor to begin in August 2026 to teach Spanish language and the cultures of the Spanish-speaking world at all levels of the curriculum. Candidates with experience or interest in community-engaged learning and/or Spanish for specific purposes are especially encouraged to apply. This is a non-tenure track, renewable, full-time, and benefits-elegible position. The appointment is for a 3/3 teaching load with the expectation of service. Qualifications Native or near-native proficiency in English and Spanish and substantial experience teaching Spanish at the university level are required. A Ph.D. in Spanish or related field is preferred but highly qualified candidates with an M.A. may be considered.
