A prestigious luxury hotel in Washington, D.C. is seeking an experienced

Chef de Cuisine

to lead its all-day dining and specialty restaurant operations. This role is ideal for a creative, hands-on culinary leader ready to drive innovation and excellence in a high-profile setting.

Responsibilities

Oversee kitchen operations and lead a team of sous chefs and culinary staff

Develop and execute seasonal, trend-forward menus

Manage food and labor costs, inventory, and vendor relations

Ensure kitchen safety, cleanliness, and maintenance standards

Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service

Qualifications

5+ years as a Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine in luxury hotels or fine dining

Culinary degree or equivalent experience

Strong leadership and team development skills

Experience with scheduling, payroll, and cost controls

Flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays)

Fluent in English; Spanish a plus

Pre-opening experience preferred
