Bechtel Corporation Bechtel is the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) partner on the Northrop Grumman team to deliver the Sentinel Program, which is modernizing the ground-based leg of the U.S. nuclear deterrent triad, including intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) systems and launch infrastructure. Job Summary : In this role, you will plan, develop, design, coordinate, and review architectural work on large projects with unique requirements. You will prepare discipline estimates and work plans, review and approve design documents, interpret regulations, and assist with performance reporting. Relocation Authorized: National - Family Telework Type: Full-Time Office/Project Work Location: Ogden, UT Major Responsibilities : Plans, schedules, conducts, or coordinates detailed phases of the architectural work to include the preparation of original designs layouts, details, drawings and specifications, using independent judgment in making adaptations and modifications. Analyzes problems with conflicting design requirements, sketches ideas and possible solutions. Analyses and reports on the suitability of unconventional materials, techniques and/or difficult coordination requirements. Prepares or assists in the preparation of cost estimates, quantity take-offs for proposals, forecasts, and change orders. Education And Experience Requirements : Requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience. Must have completed a minimum of 4 years of active-duty military service in the United States Armed Forces, with an honorable discharge. Registered Architect or ability to be obtained within 12 months. Prior experience in facility design/layout and details, building code analyses, Revit modeling and renderings. Experience with CADD applications, such as Revit. Required Knowledge And Skills : Thorough knowledge of engineering deliverables, such as drawings, specifications, and material requisitions and construction methods.
