Bechtel is the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) partner on the Northrop Grumman team to deliver the Sentinel Program, which is modernizing the ground-based leg of the U.S. nuclear deterrent triad, including intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) systems and launch infrastructure. In this role, you will plan, develop, design, coordinate, and review architectural work on large projects with unique requirements. You will prepare discipline estimates and work plans, review and approve design documents, interpret regulations, and assist with performance reporting. Major Responsibilities:

Plans, schedules, conducts, or coordinates detailed phases of the architectural work to include the preparation of original designs layouts, details, drawings and specifications. Analyses problems with conflicting design requirements, sketches ideas and possible solutions. Prepares or assists in the preparation of cost estimates, quantity take-offs for proposals, forecasts, and change orders. Plans, coordinates, or prepares equipment, work and material specifications, bid evaluations and award recommendations. Education and Experience Requirements:

Requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience. Must have completed a minimum of 4 years of active-duty military service in the United States Armed Forces, with an honorable discharge. Must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical (if located at the construction site), and background check which includes verification of employment and education. Registered Architect or ability to be obtained within 12 months. Required Knowledge and Skills:

Prior experience in facility design/layout and details, building code analyses, Revit modeling and renderings. Experience with CADD applications, such as Revit. Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel. Thorough knowledge of engineering deliverables, such as drawings, specifications, and material requisitions and construction methods. Ability to express technical issues in a clear and concise manner, both written and verbally. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Architecture Registered Architect. Prior experience working with government agencies, preferably the Department of Defense Experience with procurement automation tools. Thorough knowledge of developing CSI Masterformat specifications, or Specslntact. Bechtel is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
