Overview
Rutgers-Camden School of Business Assistant Professor of Finance (Tenure-track) Rutgers - Camden School of Business seeks applications for a tenure-track faculty position in finance at the assistant professor level. Start date is September 1, 2026. Candidates with research interests in different areas of finance are encouraged to apply. Candidates are expected to have demonstrated potential to become outstanding scholars and to lead and sustain an ambitious research program suitable for tenure at a research university. The Rutgers-Camden campus is located in southern New Jersey just across the Delaware River from downtown Philadelphia with easy access to the Jersey shore, New York, and Washington D.C. Public transportation systems are located on campus to provide easy access to these cities and regions. The campus serves over 7,500 students in undergraduate, master's, and PhD programs. Rutgers School of Business-Camden (RSBC) is home to over 1,800 undergraduate and graduate students. As an integral part of Rutgers university, Rutgers-Camden and RSBC offer the intimate experience and culture of a smaller campus for both students and faculty alike. Publishing in scholarly journals within the field of finance Teaching courses in finance at the undergraduate and graduate levels, on-campus in Camden, NJ and online Occasional teaching at off-campus locations in Mt. Laurel, NJ, Blackwood, NJ, Lincroft, NJ, and/or Princeton, NJ as needed Qualifications
PhD in Finance or a related field by September 1, 2026 (appointment date). Candidates who are currently completing their PhD and expect to have earned their degree by September 1, 2026 are encouraged to apply. Demonstrated potential to become outstanding scholars and to lead and sustain an ambitious research program suitable for tenure at a research university. Ability to publish in scholarly journals and teach at undergraduate and graduate levels. Application process and timeline
