Overview
The University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC), Department of Anesthesiology, seeks physician anesthesiologists for full-time academic faculty and clinician positions. Fellowship training in Critical Care Medicine (CCM), Regional Anesthesia (RA), Chronic Pain Management (CP), and Obstetric Anesthesia (OB) is strongly encouraged. Qualified generalists are also being sought. The patient population includes a heavy caseload in orthopedics, trauma, and high-risk obstetrics. Responsibilities
Direct patient care Teaching and supervision of nurse anesthetists, students, fellows, and residents Opportunities for clinical and basic science research; participation is encouraged Qualifications
Board certification or board eligibility required Completion of an accredited residency; subspecialty training highly preferred Current unrestricted licensure as a physician in Tennessee Current DEA certification Eligible for malpractice insurance How to apply
