Position Details The Department of Psychology seeks applicants for a nine-month, tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor position in its APA-accredited Psy.D. program, starting January 2026 (negotiable). Responsibilities include teaching, research, supervision, and service, with opportunities for leadership and program development.
Qualifications Required
Doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA-accredited program.
Licensure or license-eligibility in West Virginia; willingness to seek licensure in Ohio and Kentucky is desirable.
Expertise in clinical intervention, assessment, and teaching.
Preferred
Training and expertise in health psychology, integrated behavioral health, gerontology, underserved communities, addiction, or vulnerable populations.
Strong assessment background and experience with various intervention modalities.
Experience in online education is preferred.
