Join us to contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with internal policies, US GAAP, and SOX controls.
What You’ll Do
Lead the global month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close processes to achieve a 5-business day close cycle where possible.
Collaborate with AP, FP&A, and other departments to gather information for timely and accurate monthly accruals.
Assist with daily cash/bank reconciliations as needed.
Administer and maintain close checklists, account reconciliations, and variance analyses within FloQast.
Provide daily close reporting dashboards to management with close status updates.
Review financial statements for accuracy and completeness; ensure intercompany transactions are properly recorded, eliminated, and reconciled.
Track and maintain out-of-period adjustments and the SAB 99 assessment quarterly.
Lead variance analysis for close periods with explanations for material fluxes and deadlines respected.
Foster a collaborative environment and promote clear communication across the accounting team and other departments.
Develop and implement best practices to optimize accrual and close processes.
Assist with management of the chart of accounts, financial reporting structure, and key financial reports within the ERP.
Assist on various special projects as needed.
Who You Are
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification (or working toward) preferred.
7+ years of relevant accounting experience from a public company; at least 2 years in a Big 4 firm preferred.
Experience leading month-end close processes in a mid-to-large public company.
Experience managing direct reports and providing coaching and development.
Strong understanding of US GAAP and SOX-compliant work papers.
Solid system and operational accounting experience; NetSuite and FloQast experience preferred.
