LHH is partnering with a growing technology client in the North Oklahoma City, OK area to find an Accounting Manager. We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to lead our client’s financial operations and reporting functions. This role requires strong technical accounting expertise, advanced proficiency in Power BI for data visualization, and a collaborative leadership style. This is an in office position Monday - Friday. Responsibilities
Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger. Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance reports. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI to support data-driven decision-making. Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal accounting policies. Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants during audits and filings. Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Recommend and implement process improvements and internal controls. Support strategic initiatives through financial modeling and scenario analysis. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including some background in a managerial role. Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting standards. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI (Power Query, DAX, dashboard creation). Experience with QuickBooks preferred. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
