Job Summary:
A Tax Senior Associate is a key member of our tax department, supporting various activities to ensure compliance and optimize client tax positions. This role involves working closely with experienced professionals in tax preparation, research, and client interaction. Our goal is to help clients minimize tax liabilities while complying with evolving tax laws. Services include consulting, compliance, stock option planning, international tax advice, and guidance on investments, mergers, reorganizations, and liquidations. Duties/Responsibilities:
Mentor tax associates, guiding on complex issues and skill development Prepare, review, and analyze tax returns for various entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance Respond to inquiries from tax authorities, including drafting correspondence and supporting documentation Participate in client meetings, demonstrating strong communication skills Support administrative tasks like organizing client files Required skills include analytical thinking, attention to detail, organizational skills, and excellent communication. Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s and/or Master’s in Accounting or Taxation CPA license or active pursuit of licensure 2-6 years of progressive public accounting tax experience Expertise in preparing various tax returns Ability to supervise, review, and develop staff accountants - hybrid work model Additional Details:
