A leading custom design-build and service company in the outdoor living space is seeking a Controller to help scale the finance function during a period of rapid growth and transformation. Backed by private equity and led by a new CFO, this is a hands-on role offering visibility across multiple business units and the chance to make an immediate impact. Base pay range
$140,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr Additional compensation types
Annual Bonus What we’re looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA preferred 2+ years of public accounting experience (audit preferred) 5+ years of progressive corporate accounting experience with team leadership Extensive experience with Percentage-of-Completion (POC) accounting required Strong ERP expertise – Microsoft Dynamics Business Central required Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Responsibilities
Oversee general accounting, AP/AR, month-end close, and financial reporting across multiple entities Manage audits, tax compliance, and treasury functions including cash flow forecasting Implement and enforce financial policies, procedures, and controls Support budgeting, forecasting, and Board reporting in partnership with the CFO and FP&A team Lead, mentor, and develop a small accounting team while fostering collaboration and accountability Drive continuous improvement and ERP system optimization (Microsoft Dynamics Business Central) Seniority level
