Accounting & Finance Recruiting Manager at PangeaTwo Our client, a growing and well-established company headquartered in Birmingham, is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their expanding team. This newly created role comes as a result of continued company growth and offers the chance to step into a leadership position within a collaborative, people-first environment. You’ll report directly to the Vice President and oversee a team of Staff Accountants, helping guide the company’s accounting operations while continuing to shape and improve internal processes. Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure accuracy of financial records Supervise and mentor Staff Accountants, providing guidance and performance feedback Review journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly financial statements Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and process improvement initiatives Collaborate with the Vice President and leadership team on strategic financial planning What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred but not required) 4+ years of accounting experience, including at least 1 year of direct supervisory experience Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls Excellent communication and leadership skills A proactive mindset and desire to grow with a thriving company Base pay range $75,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr Additional compensation types Annual Bonus Location: Birmingham, AL area Employment details
