The firm is seeking a Manager of Property Accounting to lead a growing accounting team. This role will provide oversight, guidance, and strategic direction to a group of property accountants while ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant reporting. It’s a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and brings strong real estate accounting expertise. What You’ll Do
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of property accountants Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual property-level financial reporting Review and analyze financial statements, variances, and supporting schedules Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and client reporting needs Collaborate with property management, leasing, and asset management teams to deliver financial insights that drive decisions Identify and implement process improvements for greater accuracy and efficiency Serve as a key contact for both internal teams and external auditors What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role Prior experience in real estate or property management accounting strongly preferred Solid knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting best practices Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities Experience with Yardi or similar property/accounting software is an advantage Why Join?
