Overview
The position will provide support as needed to various accounting functions. Duties And Responsibilities
Financial reporting, Journal entries (including accruals), month-end close, reconciliations, etc. Bank reconciliations, fixed assets Plus, A/P, 1099 preparation and Sales tax Personal property tax renditions Preparation and review of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS Maintaining and improving accounting processes and systems for efficiency and accuracy Qualifications
Strong knowledge of GAAP Systems- advanced in Excel, experience with Microsoft Dynamics and experience with Power BI Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing Self-motivated, driven individual Ability to demonstrate a sense of urgency and flexibility for overtime during busy periods Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines Education And/Or Experience
BBA in Accounting or Finance 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Experience with external audits by preparing schedules and responding to inquiries Big 4 experience a plus Exposure to automation tools or process improvement initiatives Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
