An established Immigration and Criminal Defense law firm in Austin is seeking a Bilingual Associate Attorney with a wide range of experience: from entry-level (1+ year) to senior-level (5+ years) in Immigration and Criminal Law.
Compensation:
$75,000 – $150,000, depending on experience and qualifications What You’ll Do: Represent clients in court proceedings, including Individual Hearings, Removal and Asylum Proceedings, Bond Hearings, and Cancellation of Removal Proceedings Conduct client consultations on immigration and criminal matters Visit detained clients in jail and detention facilities Prepare applications, motions, briefs, and appeals for Criminal and Immigration Court and USCIS Conduct legal research, draft documents, and ensure timely filings Collaborate with colleagues and interact with clients, court staff, and personnel What We’re Looking For: Licensed to practice in Texas and in good standing with the State Bar Strong research, writing, and verbal communication skills Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required Excellent time management and ability to multi-task Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Word; case management systems preferred Reliable transportation and valid Texas Driver’s License Senior role:
5+ years of experience in Immigration or Criminal Law Entry-level role:
