Senior Payroll Specialist @ Social Media Entertainment Firm
Our client, a Global Social Media Entertainment Firm known for its innovative, collaborative, and forward-thinking culture, is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist for a newly created role. This position offers the opportunity to manage full-cycle payroll across multiple jurisdictions while serving as a critical bridge between Payroll, Accounting, and Tax. Responsibilities: Process payroll for U.S., Canada, and Mexico (multi-state experience required) Handle new hires, terminations, salary changes, bonuses, and deductions Administer garnishments and ensure compliance with tax and labor regulations Reconcile payroll accounts, journal entries, and resolve discrepancies Generate payroll and tax reports; support audits and reconciliations Maintain and improve payroll systems (ADP, Workday preferred) Serve as a point of contact for escalated employee payroll issues Partner on payroll-related projects and process improvements Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field 3–5+ years of full-cycle payroll experience Strong knowledge of payroll processing and payroll tax Proficiency with ADP, Workday and Excel Strong communication, detail orientation, and problem-solving skills The offered compensation includes a base pay range of $80,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr and an annual bonus.
