Base pay range: $45,000.00/yr - $55,000.00/yr This role is in-person in either the Toledo, Ohio office or the Tampa, Florida office. The Accounting Clerk supports a variety of daily accounting functions with a focus on accounts receivable and accounts payable. We are seeking a candidate with at least 1+ years of relevant accounting experience. Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable: Enter cash receipts from checks, credit cards, ACH, and wire transfers; research and resolve accounts receivable and collections issues; manage the accounts receivable inbox; process incoming trust receipts; provide coverage for AR and collections tasks during busy periods and team member vacations. Accounts Payable: Code and enter invoices; prepare check runs and distribute payments across offices and vendors; research and resolve accounts payable issues with vendors; enter and reconcile firm credit card activity; provide coverage for AP tasks during busy periods and team member vacations. Other Responsibilities: Perform other accounting-related tasks as assigned by the Accounting Department. Required Qualifications
Associate's Degree or higher required. Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) with at least 1 year of professional accounting experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Strong communication and organizational skills. About the Firm

FLSA Status : Hourly Non-Exempt Reports To : Accounting Manager Physical Requirements Frequent sitting (up to 6 hours/day), with static posture for up to 30 minutes at a time.
