Property Accountant - Kent, WA - Full Time (on-site Monday through Friday) Position Overview The property accountant will need to take ownership of assigned properties, perform full-charge accounting, and prepare monthly financial statements. Qualifications
2-3+ years of experience as an accountant; commercial/industrial property accounting experience desired but not required Yardi or equivalent software experience preferred Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field preferred Strong knowledge of US GAAP Experience with CAM reconciliations is preferred but not a firm requirement Advanced Excel skills Key Responsibilities
AR/Collections:
oversee tenant collections, monitor tenant receivables including rent and CAM charges AP/Expenses:
review and process invoices for vendors, ensure timely payments, and reconcile to annual budget Financial reporting:
prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the assigned portfolio; assist with quarterly forecast and variance analysis Budgeting/Forecasting:
Assist upper leadership with creating annual budgets, update forecasts as needed, and track budget-to-actual results to provide variance analysis and explanations Team & Culture

1 day per full month worked (12 days/year) 2–5 years:
21 days/year 6–9+ years:
