$75,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr Property Accountant Location:

Kent, WA (Onsite, Mon. - Fri.), flexible start and end times and exceptional work / life balance! Compensation:

$75,000–$90,000 DOE + Bonus Potential Fully paid Medical, Vision, Dental for employees and children Medical coverage available for spouse at employee’s cost Simple IRA with 3% company match PTO accrual based on years of service: 0–1 years:

1 day per full month worked (up to 10 days/year) 2–5 years:

21 days/year, accrued at 0.40 days per full work week 6–9+ years:

27 days/year, accrued at 0.52 days per full work week Strong work-life balance and flexibility About the Opportunity Our client is a well-established and growing commercial real estate firm in the Puget Sound region. Why This Role Is Open The accounting team is expanding due to internal promotions. This is a permanent position with long-term value to the organization. Position Overview The Property Accountant will manage financial reporting and support various aspects of operations. This role requires strong communication, analytical skills, and the ability to work independently. Experience with Yardi and prior real estate is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities Manage AP/AR, collections, and tenant communications Prepare monthly financials, journal entries, reconciliations Assist with quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, and year-end reconciliations Support internal/external audits and special projects Collaborate with Accounting Manager, Asset Manager, Controller and FP&A Director Perform administrative duties including office management and supply coordination Qualifications 2-3+ years of experience as a staff accountant, 1+ years of direct financial statement preparation experience. Direct property accountant experience highly desired, but not required! Excellent organizational and communication skills Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with tenants Ability to work onsite majority of the time with some hybrid flexibility in start times/ end times Team & Culture You’ll join a small, collaborative team with a manager who was in the role prior, and they will be a fantastic mentor and team member!
