Premier Service is seeking an Human Resources Compliance Manager to join our team. Premier Service provides elite landscape architecture design and maintenance services to commercial and residential clients in Chicagoland.

Responsibilities

Policy & Program Development: Developing and updating HR compliance policies and procedures in line with laws such as EEO, FMLA, and ADA. Creating compliance programs.

Ensures all HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and termination, comply with labor laws and internal standards.

Regulatory Monitoring & Analysis: Keeping up to date with HR compliance laws and advising management on their impact.

Audits & Risk Management: Conducting audits to identify and resolve compliance issues. Managing responses to external audits and investigations. Developing risk mitigation strategies.

Training & Education: Coordinating training programs to enhance understanding of HR compliance for employees and managers. Creating training materials.

Employee Relations: Providing guidance to HR and Employee Relations teams on compliance matters like employee rights and leaves of absence. Advising on employee relations issues.

Documentation & Reporting: Preparing and submitting required compliance reports and maintaining records of compliance activities and audit findings.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborating with vendors, legal advisors, and other departments to ensure comprehensive compliance efforts. Working with HRIS administrators to support compliance needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, law, or related field.

At least 5 years of experience in HR compliance, preferably in a managerial role.

Strong knowledge of HR compliance laws and regulations, such as EEO, ADA, FMLA, FLSA, NLRA, OSHA, and HIPAA.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Bilingual English - Spanish.

High level of integrity, ethics, and professionalism.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and HCM/HRIS software.

SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
