It’s fair to say there’s no average day for a Sales and Use Tax Senior—you’ll work on a diverse array of projects, responsibilities and tasks. You’ll provide up-to-date tax advice to clients in a highly collaborative culture, where listening and sharing information is essential. Skills And Attributes For Success

Analyzing an evolving portfolio of complex tax operations to provide meaningful business insights Identifying opportunities and risks and communicating these to clients Learning and researching current market trends to maintain credibility as a trusted advisor Developing clear plans to improve clients’ tax activities Researching clients’ business operations and building long-lasting relationships to tailor advice Supervising a team to ensure skills and opportunities for growth To qualify for the role, you must have

A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related discipline Professional knowledge in a broad range of sales and use tax processes, concepts and tools A proven record of excellence in a professional services or tax organization Technical writing and research experience in a tax context Ability to prioritize on multiple complex projects Strong influencing skills and the confidence to question existing processes Willingness to travel as needed, and working in a balanced hybrid environment Ideally, you’ll also have

CPA qualification achieved or partially achieved, certification as a member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation, CMI designation, or ability to sit for a state bar What We Look For
