Overview
Full Time - Sales Associate - Building Materials - Closing at Lowe's Companies, Inc. You will join Lowe's as a Customer Service / Sales Associate focused on building materials, delivering exceptional customer service and helping customers solve their home improvement challenges. Key Responsibilities
Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and provide friendly, professional customer service. Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise. Restock merchandise by identifying empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies. Process orders and deliveries accurately to ensure timely fulfillment. Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to support the best customer service. Prepare department merchandise based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds). Guide customers through shopping or checkout. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications
6 months of experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information). 6 months of experience using common retail technology (smartphones, tablets). Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction). Ability to stand for extended periods and perform duties as required. Minimum lifting of 25 lbs unassisted, or over 25 lbs with accommodation. Preferred Qualifications
6 months of retail and/or customer service experience. Bi-lingual skills. Certification in a trade related to the department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, lumber/building materials). Benefits and Support
