Account Executive (SaaS Sales) at GeneMetrics. This role drives new business by engaging healthcare professionals, functional medicine practitioners, and industry leaders with our genetic testing SaaS platform. The position covers the entire sales cycle—from inbound leads and industry networking to lead qualification, closing deals, and ensuring a smooth client transition. Success requires a consultative sales approach, tailoring solutions to client needs, and a data-driven mindset to optimize outreach. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, goal-oriented, with SaaS experience and a passion for the future of personalized medicine. Key Requirements
5+ years of experience in a sales role in SaaS, preferably with exposure to healthcare technology Experience working in the health, wellness, or medical industries Proven ability to meet or exceed a quota of 7-10 new B2B sales per month, ranging from SMB to Enterprise Ability to travel to sales and networking events as needed Experience attending industry events (4-8 times per year) for lead generation $80,000 to $105,000 base salary, depending on qualifications and experience benchmarks evaluated through a step-function methodology, with additional performance-based incentives Commission structure with expected $100,000 to $225,000 additional compensation (for total expected OTE of $180,000 to $330,000) 100% remote role Growth-focused culture with opportunities for career advancement Health benefits and retirement options available, including health-and-wellness-focused personal benefit Core Responsibilities
Manage inbound leads, qualifying prospects and responding within 1 business day to build early rapport and drive conversions Conduct structured outbound prospecting efforts, leveraging industry events, networking, and social selling (LinkedIn, email, etc.) to generate new leads Develop and execute a structured follow-up strategy for prospects, utilizing CRM tracking and data insights to guide outreach Deliver compelling product demonstrations and customized sales presentations to showcase GeneMetrics’ solutions Identify and engage key decision-makers within prospective client organizations, navigating multi-stakeholder sales cycles Utilize sales analytics to track engagement, conversion rates, and prospect behavior, adjusting sales strategies accordingly Maintain integrity in sales conversations by engaging in fit-based selling—prioritizing long-term alignment over short-term gains Structure contract negotiations, clearly communicating pricing, terms, and package options while overcoming objections Collaborate with SDRs, marketing, customer success, and solutions engineers to align messaging and improve conversion rates Ensure a seamless post-sale handoff by coordinating with the account management team and providing detailed client information About You
You are exceptional at responding to inbound leads within 1 business day and managing outbound prospecting You have demonstrated success in consultative selling and fit-based sales methodologies You have the ability to analyze sales data, track KPIs, and optimize sales efforts using CRM tools You possess strong pricing and negotiation skills, with experience structuring contracts and overcoming objections You have a track record of exceeding sales targets in a SaaS, healthcare, or tech-driven industry You thrive in consultative sales and can tailor solutions based on prospect needs and industry challenges You are data-driven and leverage analytics to refine your outreach and sales strategies You are a strong negotiator, able to position pricing and package structures without excessive concessions You are comfortable networking and attending industry events to generate leads and build relationships You are highly organized and follow structured sales SOPs, CRM documentation, and post-sale follow-ups You believe in integrity-based selling and will not push a deal that isn’t a good fit for the client You have experience working with SDRs and collaborating across sales and marketing teams About GeneMetrics
