Overview
Personal Injury Case Manager — Multiple Openings — 100% Remote (FL, OH or VA residents highly preferred) Salary range: $60K-$65K (Flexible/Negotiable DOE). Health Insurance Coverage, Vision coverage, Dental Coverage & 401k retirement. Company overview: Our client is a personal injury law firm with 30+ years of experience. You will be responsible for managing a caseload of personal injury files from start to finish, including initial client contact, investigation, negotiation, and settlement. You will also maintain regular communication with clients, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel.
Responsibilities
Investigate and analyze all aspects of each case to determine the best course of legal action
Manage a high-volume caseload with meticulous attention to detail
Locate and interview witnesses, review police reports and medical records, and perform necessary research
Prepare cases for mediation, arbitration, and trial by organizing evidence, developing arguments, and drafting pleadings
Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients and represent them in court when necessary
Keep clients updated on the status of their cases and ensure they understand and approve actions being taken
Maintain excellent communication with opposing counsel, insurance adjusters, and other parties in the litigation process
Adhere to ethical guidelines and comply with state and federal laws governing the practice of law
Stay abreast of developments in personal injury law
Supervise support staff and delegate tasks as necessary
Handle administrative tasks such as file management
Heavy client, insurance adjuster, and medical provider communication; monitor medical treatment
Draft and send demand packages
Qualifications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Some experience or exposure to working in personal injury
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
2-5 years professional experience working with clients in a human services capacity preferred
Experience working with clients who have experienced trauma
Familiarity with community resources and referral processes
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Location: Remote work option available; candidates must be located in FL, OH, or VA preferred.
