Job Summary The Performance and Safety Specialist (PASS) Team Member plays a key role in fostering a safe, well-trained, and competent workforce by delivering critical training programs and supporting ongoing staff development. This position is responsible for conducting New Hire Orientation, as well as teaching CPR/First Aid and Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training. The PASS Team Member ensures staff maintain required competencies through initial and continuous monitoring of skills and knowledge at their assigned site. Working collaboratively with the Training Department and program leadership, this individual helps assess and address safety practices and training needs at assigned units. Additionally, the PASS Team Member supports the creation, implementation, and evaluation of unit-specific training plans to promote best practices and enhance overall staff performance. Education And Experience Required High school diploma or GED required. Associate's Degree or higher preferred. 2-5 years of experience in the health care field required. 1-3 years of experience in a training or education role preferred. Minimum of six months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders preferred. Emergency Medical Technician certification (valid within the state of Arizona) is preferred but not required for this position. Certified Nurse Assistant certification (current and valid within the State of Arizona) is preferred but not required for this position. Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) in accordance with A.A.C. R9-10-101.33 and CBI Clinical Policies and Procedures. Current AZ Driver’s License (valid and in good standing). Clear 39-month Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) CBI Offers an excellent benefits package!
