Job Title: Regional Human Resources Manager - Louisiana. Company: Priority Management. Location: Louisiana region. The Regional Human Resources Manager will support and manage HR functions across facilities, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, performance management, and HR policy compliance. The role involves guiding facility HR staff and visiting facilities, ensuring regulatory compliance, and contributing to HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Responsibilities
Provide leadership and direction to HR teams within the designated area.
Travel to different facilities to audit and train HR staff.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Recruit, train, and mentor HR staff to enhance their skills and capabilities.
Recruitment and Onboarding
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, and interviews.
Conduct new employee orientations and facilitate a smooth onboarding process.
Employee Relations
Address employee inquiries and concerns, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
Mediate and resolve conflicts, ensuring fair and consistent treatment of all employees.
Benefits Administration
Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
Assist employees with benefits-related inquiries and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Performance Management
Support the performance appraisal process, providing guidance to managers and employees.
Assist in the development and implementation of performance improvement plans.
HR Policy and Compliance
Stay abreast of employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
Update and communicate HR policies, ensuring alignment with legal requirements and best practices.
Training and Development
Coordinate employee training and development programs.
Identify opportunities for skill enhancement and career growth.
HR Administration
Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
Generate HR reports and analytics to support decision-making.
Employee Engagement
Plan and organize employee engagement initiatives, such as team-building activities and events.
Seek feedback from employees and implement strategies to enhance workplace satisfaction.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.
Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Proficient in HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and Microsoft Office Suite.
