Overview
HR Business Partner (LATAM, Houston, Winston Salem) role overseeing people activities across varied/large client groups, aligning with the global Business and People strategy. Acts as a consultant and trusted advisor to leadership to drive talent strategies, organisational change, workforce planning and engagement. Operates independently with minimal input from the Head of HR and may deputise when required. Main Responsibilities
Strategic Planning Partner with business leaders to define and deploy the People Strategy aligned with functional and wider business strategy. Be a core member of the client group leadership team. Collaborate with HR centres of excellence (CoEs) to deliver effective HR solutions that support the People Strategy while aligning to business needs. Use a data-driven approach to analyse trends and metrics to support decision making, measure HR impact and improve productivity. Drive organizational change and transformation initiatives. Support the development of fair and motivating compensation strategies aligned with business success. Delivery and Execution Work with the wider HR team to deliver key annual HR activities (performance management, pay review, engagement and talent review) across the client group, ensuring processes are understood and followed by managers. Build strong relationships across the HR team to enable effective delivery of HR initiatives and projects. Senior Level Business Partnership Partner with senior leaders to drive HR strategies that support business objectives and organisational growth. Collaborate with senior leaders to understand business needs and provide strategic HR guidance and solutions. Coach, influence and support leaders on a range of people activities and challenges. Ensure HR policies and practices are implemented effectively to ensure compliance. Coach and influence leaders through guiding and challenging thinking to ensure the right outcomes for the business. Culture and Engagement Lead the evolution of culture within the client group to embed Rotork’s DNA. Ensure engagement areas of focus/action become a core business process and activity within the client group. Be a visible role model for Rotork DNA and Behaviours to the business. Talent Development Lead talent and succession planning within the client group to recruit and develop high-calibre talent with a focus on Rotork strategic initiatives around internal talent development and diversity. Support strategic workforce planning (including succession planning and talent management) to develop the next level of leaders. Attract top talent by collaborating with the TA Partner to develop and implement strategies for the client group. Retain talent by partnering with leaders to embed effective workforce planning, succession planning and talent management. Organisation Change / M&A Lead organisational change initiatives and transformation to improve organisation health within the client group and embed sustained change. Ensure readiness for sustainable business growth and shape structures/processes to optimise workforce effectiveness. Provide HR leadership on merger/acquisition projects from due diligence through integration, benefits harmonization, and onboarding, collaborating with the wider HR team. Qualifications
Required skills and competencies HR qualified – Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; relevant HR qualification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM, HR Diploma, HR Masters) preferred. Experience in HR business partnering within fast-paced, international, matrixed environments; typically 15+ years in HR with a focus on commercial HR leadership roles. Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills; proven experience partnering with senior leaders. Business acumen with understanding of financial drivers, risk/reward, industry trends, and macro-economic changes; ability to provide strategic HR support based on financial understanding. Customer-focused with a drive to deliver excellence; ability to influence and engage across cultures. Analytical mindset with ability to measure HR impact and drive decisions. Digital agility; comfort using technology to drive automation and efficiency. Curious, self-motivated, proactive; able to work with limited supervision. Execution excellence with strong planning and problem-solving skills. Communication excellence with fluent Spanish; strong written and verbal skills. Additional Information
