A national law firm with a strong reputation in creditor rights and financial services litigation is seeking an Attorney to join its Bankruptcy Practice in Georgia. While a Georgia license is required, this Attorney will be able to work on a fully remote basis. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain or expand experience in bankruptcy, foreclosure, and related litigation matters within a collaborative and compliance-focused environment. This role provides hands-on experience, mentorship from seasoned attorneys, and exposure to a wide range of client matters in a dynamic and growing practice area. Responsibilities

Work closely with attorneys and legal staff to manage bankruptcy cases in compliance with federal and local rules Provide legal analysis and recommendations on individual loan matters Review, prepare, and file key bankruptcy documents such as proofs of claim, notices of payment change, and fee notices Draft motions, pleadings, objections, and correspondence Represent clients in hearings, settlement conferences, and related proceedings Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates and strategic guidance Respond to communications from courts, trustees, opposing counsel, and other parties Escalate complex issues as appropriate Qualifications

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school Active bar membership in good standing in the state of Georgia Strong legal writing and communication skills Ability to manage time effectively and thrive in a high-volume environment Strongly Preferred

2+ years of experience representing secured creditors or mortgage servicers Experience in bankruptcy law or the mortgage default industry Details
