The Billing Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the processing of caregiver notes, ensuring accuracy, and preparing them for payroll and billing. This role involves communicating with caregivers regarding documentation correction or missing information and working on back-end denials for the assigned caseload. Responsibilities
Monthly and quarterly reporting, utilizing existing spreadsheet systems Use medical management software, PDF editing software, spreadsheets, email, and other basic Microsoft applications Review medical and caregiver notes for accuracy Maintain payroll deadlines and ensure all contractors are accurately paid, in collaboration with the notes processor or care team Troubleshoot problems in a timely manner Qualifications
Friendly, reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and in teams Strong computer skills, specifically with Excel and Microsoft 365 applications Accuracy in work tasks Excellent reading, writing, and verbal communication skills, both in-person and over the phone Strong analytical ability and memory Interest in supporting patients and their families behind the scenes Great interpersonal skills and a team player Ability to handle repetitive tasks and sit at a computer for long periods Benefits
