Principal Executive Recruiter – Pharmaceutical Operations is responsible for building and executing world-class executive search strategies that secure transformative leaders in manufacturing, quality, regulatory, and supply chain. This role drives the full lifecycle of executive recruitment, from proactive market mapping to precision closing strategies, with an emphasis on compliance expertise. Acting as a trusted advisor to the C-suite, the recruiter combines elite sourcing craft, competitor intelligence, and structured assessment coaching to ensure Empower consistently hires executives who scale compliant operations. Success is measured by the caliber of executives placed, velocity of execution, and ability to anticipate and address operational needs through foresight, rigor, and disciplined execution.

Responsibilities

Strategic Executive Pipelining: Build pipelines of world-class operations executives aligned to Empower’s growth and compliance strategy; continuously map and segment global talent across pharmaceutical manufacturing, QA, regulatory, and supply chain; cultivate long-term executive relationships to position Empower as a destination employer.

Market and Competitor Intelligence: Track leadership shifts, FDA/DEA filings, GMP certifications, and recalls at competitors; monitor operational ecosystem signals including inspections, plant expansions, and supply chain disruptions; deliver real-time, actionable intelligence briefings to Empower’s leadership.

Coaching the Assessment Process: Implement structured evaluation frameworks to ensure data-driven hiring decisions; prepare stakeholders to assess operational leadership, compliance mastery, and cultural alignment; facilitate calibrated decision-making that ensures hires advance Empower’s compliance and efficiency goals.

Offer Process and Closing Strategy: Architect competitive offers tailored to operational leaders while balancing equity and governance; deliver persuasive value propositions highlighting Empower’s mission, scale, and regulatory excellence; lead precise closing strategies that anticipate relocation or regulatory risks.

Pre-Onboarding and Retention Enablement: Design pre-onboarding plans introducing executives to Empower’s compliance culture; anticipate transition challenges and resolve regulatory onboarding needs; maintain checkpoints to monitor executive engagement and accelerate integration.

Knowledge and Skills

Expertise in executive recruitment for pharmaceutical operations, with mastery of sourcing, compliance-driven evaluations, and competitor intelligence.

Strong capability in operational and regulatory intelligence, translating industry signals into actionable strategies.

Demonstrated proficiency in structured assessments ensuring bias-free, compliance-ready executive evaluation.

Advanced stakeholder management with the ability to coach and advise C-suite leaders.

Experience And Qualifications

8+ years of executive recruiting experience, ideally in pharmaceutical manufacturing, regulatory, or healthcare operations.

Proven track record in building pipelines and closing senior operational hires.

Proficiency with compliance-focused sourcing, assessment frameworks, and talent intelligence.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

Exceptional discretion, executive presence, and advisory capability with senior leadership teams.
