Principal Executive Recruiter – Commercial / Go-to-Market
The Principal Executive Recruiter – Commercial / Go-To-Market is responsible for building and executing world-class executive search strategies that secure transformative leaders in sales, marketing, payer relations, and market access. This role drives the full lifecycle of executive recruitment, from proactive market mapping to precision closing strategies, with a strong emphasis on revenue growth and market expansion. Acting as a trusted advisor to the C-suite, the recruiter combines elite sourcing craft, competitor intelligence, and structured assessment coaching to ensure Empower consistently hires executives who expand its commercial reach. Success is measured by the caliber of executives placed, velocity of execution, and the ability to anticipate and address commercial needs through foresight, persuasion, and disciplined execution.
Duties and Responsibilities Strategic Executive Pipelining
Build pipelines of world-class commercial leaders aligned to Empower’s growth strategy.
Continuously map and segment talent in sales, marketing, payer, and access functions.
Cultivate long-term executive relationships that keep Empower top-of-mind.
Market and Competitor Intelligence
Track revenue trends, payer strategies, and leadership moves across competitors.
Monitor ecosystem signals including launches, M&A, and formulary changes.
Deliver real-time, actionable market briefings to Empower’s leadership.
Coaching the Assessment Process
Implement structured evaluation frameworks to assess commercial leadership impact.
Prepare stakeholders to evaluate revenue expansion, payer negotiations, and brand growth.
Lead calibrated decision-making that aligns with Empower’s growth strategy.
Offer Process and Closing Strategy
Architect offers tailored to commercial leaders with competitive structures and incentives.
Deliver persuasive value propositions emphasizing growth, market access, and mission.
Lead closing strategies that anticipate counteroffers and incentive complexities.
Pre-Onboarding and Retention Enablement
Design pre-onboarding experiences introducing commercial hires to Empower’s growth plans.
Anticipate transition challenges, including incentive rollover and relocation.
Maintain checkpoints to accelerate engagement and retention.
Knowledge and Skills
Expertise in executive recruitment for commercial leadership with mastery of sourcing and persuasion.
Strong capability in competitor and market intelligence for sales and payer dynamics.
Proficiency in structured commercial leadership assessments and evaluation frameworks.
Advanced ability to advise and coach C-suite leaders on commercial talent strategy.

Experience And Qualifications
8+ years of executive recruiting experience, ideally in pharmaceutical or healthcare commercial functions.
Proven success in recruiting executives who scale revenue, payer access, and market share.
Proficiency in talent intelligence and assessment frameworks tailored to commercial leadership.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
