Overview
Part Time Urgent Care Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Sign On Bonus role at GoHealth Urgent Care, in partnership with Hartford HealthCare, serving the Connecticut area. Responsibilities
Provide urgent care clinical services to adult and pediatric patients, including assessment, treatment of acute episodic conditions, and coordination of care. Perform patient history taking, order and interpret diagnostic tests and X-rays, make diagnoses, and prescribe medications as appropriate. Treat minor injuries (e.g., sutures, splints, casting) and educate patients and families. Educate, counsel, and refer patients as needed; document progress notes and participate in follow-up care. Work four (4), eight (8) or twelve (12) hour shifts as assigned by GoHealth Urgent Care to meet coverage needs. Qualifications
Bachelor\'s Degree required for Physician Assistants Master\'s Degree required for Nurse Practitioners 2-5 years of post-residency clinical experience required; minimum 18 months in applicable practice setting; adult and pediatric practice experience strongly preferred National Certification and active state medical licensure Experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Room settings; proficiency in suturing, splinting, and related procedures Additional Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
Experience with Electronic Medical Records Strong listening, communication, and customer service skills Benefits
