Integrated Air & Missile Defense Systems (IAMDS) department is seeking a
Systems Engineer II . IAMDS leads all aspects of Systems Engineering that drive the development of complex systems to support the Raytheon Land and Air Defense Systems (LADS) mission area from our Tewksbury, MA location. This position is onsite in Tewksbury, MA. What You will Do: You will be responsible for concept and requirements development, including decomposition and flow-down You will be responsible for concept of Operations (CONOPS) development and design You will be responsible for algorithm optimization, research and development; trade studies to bring new, advanced features to fielded system You will be responsible for functional analysis of real world and test data You will be responsible for multi-disciplinary development efforts across the kill-chain for an Air and Missile Defense System You will collaborate with customer to bring new capabilities to the warfighter Qualifications You Must Have: Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 2 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience An active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required security clearance. Experience interfacing with external customers Qualifications We Prefer: Experience of radar systems (for example - PATRIOT, LTAMDS, AN/TPY-2 and others) Experience with both broad, large-scale data analysis and focused root-cause analysis Experience with Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Experience with design of system level architecture Experience with signal processing techniques, system control Experience of Electronic Warfare/Electronic Attack/Electronic Protection Techniques Experience across the product development life cycle Familiarity with MATLAB, DOORS, and MS Office Existing DoD Security Clearance What We Offer: Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.
